1. Purpose and Scope of the Privacy Notice

This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Sólvia Studio / Merve Güngör Design Workshop ("Company" or "Data Controller") in accordance with Article 10 of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) to inform our customers and website users, who are data subjects, about the processing of their personal data.

Our company processes your personal data through your site visits, purchases, and our communication channels in the following categories:

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the legal requirements specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK (Law on Protection of Personal Data) , for the following purposes :

  • Order Fulfillment: Processing your purchases, preparing your orders, and shipping your products to your address.

  • Customer Relations: Managing after-sales support, product returns and exchanges, and fulfilling responsibility for defective goods.

  • Financial and Legal Obligations: Issuing invoices, performing accounting transactions, and fulfilling obligations arising from tax legislation and other legal regulations.

  • Communication: To provide information regarding your purchase, and to respond to your complaints and requests.

  • Business Development: Improving the site experience, promoting our products (if explicit consent has been given).

4. Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected entirely or partly through automated means (e-commerce infrastructure, cookies, email) or through non-automated means (physical contact forms).

The legal grounds for our data processing activities are as follows:

  • Establishment and Performance of the Contract: Necessary for the establishment and performance of a sales contract (MSS) (Article 5/2-c).

  • Legal Obligation: Fulfillment of legal obligations such as invoicing and accounting (Article 5/2-a).

  • Legitimate Interest: The legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Site security, fraud prevention, etc.) (Article 5/2-f).

  • Explicit Consent: For non-mandatory purposes such as commercial marketing communication or personalized advertising (Article 5/1).

5. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data will be processed for the purposes stated above and to fulfill legal obligations;

  • To cargo/logistics companies (for delivery),

  • To payment service providers (for payment processing),

  • For financial advisors and auditors (for legal requirements),

  • To public institutions and organizations authorized by law (based on legal requests)

Data transfers are possible. International transfers are only carried out through our technological infrastructure provider (Shopify, Google, Meta, etc.) and in accordance with the relevant GDPR regulations.

6. Data Subject Rights (KVKK Article 11)

Every natural person whose personal data is processed has the following rights by applying to the Data Controller:

  1. To find out whether your personal data is being processed,

  2. The right to request information regarding the processing of personal data.

  3. To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is being used appropriately for that purpose.

  4. The right to request the correction of personal data if it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately.

  5. Requesting the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK (Law on Protection of Personal Data).

  6. Requesting that the third parties to whom it is transferred be notified of the transactions made in accordance with paragraphs (4) and (5) above,

  7. The right to object to an outcome that is detrimental to oneself, resulting from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems.

  8. The right to claim compensation for damages incurred as a result of the unlawful processing of personal data.
