Telmyra Candela combines the enduring nature of Telmessos' stone architecture and the fluid rhythm of the Mediterranean waves in a single sculptural form. Its layered and sturdy base reflects the architectural discipline of the city's rock tombs and theater steps, while the spiral body rising from within symbolizes the waves of the harbor and the uninterrupted movement of maritime trade.

The candle flame at the apex of the form, as the "light of the harbor," brings both a guiding hope and the continuity of life born from the shimmering energy of the sea into the space. This work unites the permanence of stone with the movement of water in a timeless balance.
